Terwase Akwaza Denies Charges Of Murder

With the revocation of the Benue State amnesty deal, Mr Terwase Akwaza, popularly known as Ghana has denied any involvement in the killing of Mr Denen Igbana, the State Governor, Samuel Ortom’s security aide.
He explained that after Mr Igbana’s murder, he visited Governor Ortom at the Government House in Makurdi to commiserate with him, and later found out that he had been declared wanted.
Mr Akwaza spoke with Channels Television at his hideout.
Meanwhile, Governor Ortom has challenged the ex-militia leader to hand himself over to the police if indeed he is not guilty of murder charges, kidnapping and other acts of banditry.
The governor in an interview with Channels Television said he had assured Mr Terwase that there would be no extra-judicial execution under his administration.
