Army Boss Tasks Officers On Professionalism
The Nigerian Army says human capacity building and adequate welfare is at the heart of its operations, in view of the increasing internal and external security challenges.
At the commencement of the warrant officers and noncommissioned officers’ professional competition organised by the Nigerian Army Headquarters Garrison, the Commandant, Major General John Malu said the exercise was held to train and enhance the capacity of the officers and soldier in the garrison such that they would be ready to deliver, should they be called up to any theatre of operation.
He also added that in view of the newly inducted equipment into the Nigerian Army armour, it had become necessary to acquaint the officers and soldiers to make them more efficient and capable of handling any operation.
