Footballer, Joesph Yobo's wife, Adaeze Yobo who welcomed her daughter, Lexine Dumlesi Yobo few weeks ago has shared throwback photos of when she was pregnant, and after child birth. She wrote:

Three communities in Adamawa state, have been thrown into mourning following an attack by herdsmen which has led to the death of three policemen scores of villagers and the abduction of one. At Kwayine village, some of the residents were seen burying the dead in the early hours of Sunday. The attack, coming after various alerts by the Adamawa community of fears about a likely attack, has left on its trail, damaged houses and abandoned police vehicles. Wike Calls On Nigerians To Support Families Of Slain Officers

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has called on Nigerians to make direct investments in the lives of legionnaires and the families of late servicemen, who lost their lives defending the territorial integrity of the country. The governor made this known on Friday while speaking at the 2017 Emblem Appeal Launch marking the Armed Forces and Remembrance Day Celebration in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He said the families of slain servicemen and legionnaires deserve all the support they can get from the people. “There is need for us to give them the required support. We must take legionnaires and families of slain servicemen as important as we take ourselves. “This is because they fought for this nation. 1,000 Days After: Buhari Recommits To Return Of Chibok School Girls

As the world commemorates the 1,000th day of the abduction of schoolgirls from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, President Muhammadu Buhari has restated the commitment of the federal government in securing the release of the remaining youngsters kidnapped by Boko Haram insurgents. In a statement by the Special Adviser to the President, Mr Femi Adesina, Buhari said: “We are grateful to God that on this landmark day, we are not completely in the depths of despair, but buoyed with hope that our daughters will yet rejoin their families and loved ones. “Three of them have been recovered by our diligent military, while the freedom of 21 others was secured through engagement with their captors. We are hopeful that many more will still return as soon as practicable”.
