Abductors Of Youth In Ibeju-Lekki Request N100m Ransom

Following the recent kidnap of a youth in Ise community in Ibeju Lekki area of Lagos state, Nigeria, the abductors have demanded a sum of 100 million Naira as ransom.
42 year old Ademola Salami, was allegedly kidnapped by seven armed men and whisked across the river.
Known to be a dealer in planks, he allegedly received a call, asking him to make delivery of some products at the jetty before his abduction.
Residents have decried the spate of insecurity in their area, and have appealed to the government to come to their rescue.According to them, for the past seven years, a divisional Police station commissioned in Ise had been a ghost of itself as no police officers were deployed there until the recent attack.
They have however pleaded with the government to take immediate action so as to flush out the criminals who they say take refuge in about five creeks across the river.
